The Colosseum was and is the most famous building in roman history. This was a place where gladiators and animals would perform in front of 45,000-55,000 people. The Colosseum was built in 70 C.E. and was opened to the public in 80 C.E. The structure is 620 by 513 feet. It's inside seating is surrounded by 15 feet of wall. 3.9 million Tourists a year.
